More excitement in the PP Competition as another champion was crowned on the last day of the season.

David Myer at one stage looked good to become the first punter to win the trophy twice with back to back titles but eventually had to settle for second place after a nail biting last fixture.

Gary (costablancawhite) held the lead for most of the season and seemed to have the title in the bag with a ten point lead and only a handful of games left, however David came with a late rally and was only two points from the top going into the final match. Gary held off David in the last game and took the title for the first time to become the fourteenth different winner of the trophy, Gary moved upto first position instead of his normal sixth place finish!

Spain would have had their second title had it not been for Gary leaving civilisation and returning home to blighty the year before so despite his username the trophy headed north to the UK again for their fourth title.

Congratulations to Gary, David and the other top six Glen, Elena, Trevor and Keith, a mention too for Barry who won the cup competition to add to his PP title.
